The nationwide municipal strike will resume tomorrow after negotiations between the South African Municipal Workers Union and the South African Local Government Association deadlocked.
The two met yesterday to discuss the possible end to the mass action.
SAMWU members embarked on strike action nationwide last week.
SAMWU says it will not accept SALGA’s proposal.
The Workers Union is calling on SALGA to implement a uniform job grading system.
