A business robbery occurred at a shop in Sentinel Street, Tafelsig in Mitchell’s Plain today.
It is alleged that three unknown man entered the premises, two of them went behind the counter and took cigarettes and the cash till with cash and airtime worth the value of about R5000.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Ian Williams says one of the suspects armed with a firearm fired a shot at a 25 year old male inside the shop, wounding him in the upper left leg.
“The suspects fled the scene on foot. No arrests have been made,” said Williams.
