The City of Cape Town’s four main jols also known as public viewing areas have re-opened today for Bafana Bafana’s second 2010 FIFA World Cup game against Uruguay.
The fan jols are located in Bellville, Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plein and Athlone.
Soocer fans across the city have been urged to get to their nearest fan jol to watch the game tonight at half past eight.
All the fans jols are open 12 hours a day from 11:00 – 23:00 on all Cape Town match days, Bafana Bafana match days, as well as for the quater finals, semi finals and final game days.
In addition to the big screens where fans can watch Bafana Bafana play Uruguay the public can also enjoy entertainment and local food.
The City’s Joint Operations Centre is receiving regular information about viewing areas in the city and motorists are urged to watch the variable signage boards on the N1, N2 and M5 for traffic information.
