As efforts continue to prevent a nationwide strike, Eskom says it will put a revised offer on the table today.
Unions have lowered its initial demand of a 15% pay increment to 9%.
Labour also demanded a R5 000 housing allowance but have lowered this to R4 000.
Nationwide strike action could threaten the country’s power supply during the World Cup tournament but Eskom assured it will implement contingency plans to mitigate the supply risk.
