Four people have been arrested in connection with the shooting of an exiled Rwandan army general.

Lieutenant General Fautsin Kayumba Nyamwasa was shot in the stomach at his Melrose Arch home on Saturday, in what his wife described as an assassination attempt.

Nyamwasa fled to South Africa after being accused of terrorism by Rwandan president Paul Kagame.

Police say they are still busy with the investigation and have not released the nationalities of the four arrested.
