Defending champions Italy are out of the World Cup.
The team at the bottom of Group F, Slovakia, beat the Azzuri 3-2 at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
Robert Vettek scored twice for Slovakia, with Kamil Kopunek adding the third goal.
For Italy, Kamil Kopunek hit the net, with Fabio Quagliarella scoring late in the game.
In Polokwane, New Zealand fans saw the All Whites being eliminated as Paraguay remained at the top of the group with a goalless draw.
