Western Cape Police are yet to confirm the arrest and impending court appearance of a soccer fan who allegedly barged his way into the England sqaud’s change rooms at the Cape Town Stadium on Friday night.
Earlier reports said the fan, known as Pavlos Joseph, will appear in the World Cup special court in Cape Town today.
On Friday night the fuming soccer fan allegedly entered the English team’s changing room at the stadium in Green Point after the squad’s draw against Algeria to express his frustration with team.
However tournament organisers say they have beefed up security measures at all stadiums and do not take the incident lightly.
