Two suspects will appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Friday on charges of possession of drugs and presumable stolen property.
The arrest follows a break through in an intensive investigation into numerous housebreaking cases reported at the weekend in the Woodstock area.
“The police followed up leads in connection with the whereabouts of the suspects, and arrested them at one of the rooms, situated at the Durham Square residence,” said Sergeant Hilton Malila.
The police’s Hilton Malila said the two were arrested last night at Durham Square where stolen property and drugs with an estimated street value of R50 000 was confiscated.
