Two people were killed and another was left moderately injured after a collision on Symphony Way in Bellville South last night.
ER24’s Tristan Wadeley said it appeared as though the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when the collision occurred.
“Both vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision and the occupants needed to be extricated by rescue crews from the Fire Department,” said Wadeley.
The two casualties, who were traveling in the same vehicle, were declared dead on the scene while the driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital.
Police were present and are investigating the incident.
