A 19 year old prostitute in Bellville has been arrested for being in possession of dagga, half mandrax tablet and two tik lollies.
She was immediately arrested and taken to Bellville police station, where she is being charged with being in possession of illegal substance.
Her friend who is also a prostitute aged 16 from Paarl has been handed over to the Cape Town Child Care Services for assistance and further investigation.
Cape Town’s Vice Squad is appealing to members of the community to report possible prostitution or brothel activity in their area to 0800 225 669.
