The Nyanga Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are requesting the assistance of the public in tracing a rape suspect.
On Saturday a 23 year old female and a friend were walking home in Lower Crossroads, Philippi East when they were approached by unidentified armed male.
The suspects threatened the female and her friend with a knife and raped the 23 year old.
He is described as a 30 year old black, 1.7m tall, medium built and fair in complexion with a scar on his left cheek.
