A man shot himself in his car at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg earlier today.
Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said, “We have dispatched the Netcare helicopter with a trauma doctor on board to assist on the scene.
He is in a critical condition and was airlifted to Sunninghill hospital.
Spokesperson Colonel Vishnu Naidoo said "The man was found with a gunshot wound in his car at the airport's cargo section."
“It is believed that the man have been trying to take his own life,” police said.
