Billionaire businessman Atul Gupta, is expected to appear before the Randburg Magistrate’s Court today.
The New Age newspaper publisher is facing charges of obstruction of justice.
Gupta was reportedly arrested over the weekend after he allegedly refused to be searched by police.
Media reports stated that Gupta threatened to have the arresting police official fired, boasting that he knew national police commissioner,General Bheki Cele.
