Parliament’s portfolio committee on communications has called on the public to nominate individuals to fill non-executive vacancies on the SABC board.
The posts are a result of the resignation of four members of the SABC board.
the board's deputy chairperson Felleng Sekha and three board members, including Barbara Masekela handed their resignations to President Jacob Zuma about a week ago.
Experience in media law, business practice and finance, marketing and journalism, broadcasting policy and technology, as well as social and labour issues, are some of fields of expertise needed for nomination for the board.
