Six people have been killed in an accident on the N14 near Ventersdorp in the North-West today.
The accident involved a car and a bakkie.
Three men and two women who were travelling in the car, died on the scene.
The sixth victim is a passenger who was on the back of the bakkie that crashed into the car.
Two police officers who stopped at the accident scene were seriously injured when an oncoming bakkie hit them.
