An Eastern Cape man was today shot nine times near Mthatha.
The 45-year-old man was shot dead at Centane while he was opening the gate at his home.
Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said “nine gunshot wounds were found on his body”.
A case of murder has been opened in the Mthatha Central Police Station.
No arrests have been made yet but police are continuing to investigate the matter.
