A prisoner in the Eastern Cape has escaped for the second time after appearing in court yesterday.
Sandisile Mtshingana, 27 appeared in the Eastern Cape High Court in Mthatha for shooting a police officer in 2007.
His case was postponed until the 14th of March 2011.
He escaped while he was waiting for the police truck to escort him to Wellington prison.
He first escaped in 2009 from his cell in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape.
Lieutenant Colonel Mzukisi Fatyela said "He is regarded as dangerous and anyone with any information should report it to police".
