Sakkie Jenner resigns as Western Cape ID leader

Sakkie Jenner, Western Cape leader of the Independent Democrats has resigned as a member of the provincial legislature on Monday.
His resignation is believed to be based on health reasons.
Jenner lost his post as provincial Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport when Premier Helen Zille reschufled the provinces cabinet.
Western Cape MEC for Social Development Patricia de Lille said they wish him well as he is going for an operation.
Ms De Lille added that they hope he will have a speedy recovery.
