An investigation is being launched by the Johannesburg Metro Police department into eight police officials who allegedly stole alcohol from an overturned truck in the North West.
The eight officials stole alcohol from an SAB truck that overturned on the N12 highway on Thursday.
They were all arrested and were granted bail of one-thousand-Rands each.
All the eight official will now reappear in the Potchefstroom Magistrate's Court next month.
