News that President Jacob Zuma is not rushing home from the World Economic Forum in Switzerland, despite former president Nelson Mandela being admitted to hospital, has calmed some of the panic about the elderly statesman’s health.
Local and international journalists rushed to Johannesburg’s Milpark Hospital when the news about Madiba broke.
The Nelson Mandela Foundation insists that, despite the 92-year-old Mandela being weak, he is only undergoing routine tests.
Several members of his family visited him in hospital yesterday.
