Cope’s co-founder Mbhazima Shilowa intends challenging an interim order granted by the South Gauteng High Court barring him from parliament.
Sipho Ngwema, spokesman for Shilowa, says the court granted an interim order for a month barring Shilowa from parliament.
He says the order doesn’t say he cannot be an MP, it just says he musn’t go to parliament. Shilowa was serve d with a 250 page court document relating to an application made by his rival Mosuoa Lekota.
