A body of an 8-year-old girl Zikhona Qhayi was found by a community member in bushes in Harare Khayelitsha.
The girl was reported missing at 01:00 this morning after she was last seen playing with friends close to her house.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
No arrests have been made yet.
