The results of the ANC’s Limpopo elective conference are to be announced soon.
Limpopo’s provincial chairman Cassel Mathale has been told to hold on to his position despite facing strong opposition from Deputy Arts and Culture Minister Joe Paahla.
During the conference yesterday Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe called for discipline and said that delegates should not vote for candidates based on their political alignment.
Motlanthe said members should stand up and speak against "this demon" that seems to weaken the ANC of all its historical achievements.
