The four police officers arrested at O R Tambo International Airport last week for allegedly extorting money from a Ghanaian National have appeared in court and granted bail.
The officers allegedly demanded one hundred US dollars from the man, threatening him with deportation.
The matter was brought to the attention of police management at O R Tambo.
An inquiry was initiated and evidence gathered.
