Shack fires in and around Cape Town on Sunday night left one man dead and at least 160 were left homeless
Separate fires in Langa and Wallacedene gutted about 40 shacks.
Hot conditions along the Cape Peninsula City Fire Service's are expected today says Theo Layne.
He continued to say that they are currently not dealing with any vegetation fires but during the course of the day they are expecting to respond to many.
