The family of slain actor Brett Goldin reiterated they would do everything in their power to prevent parole being granted to one of the two men convicted of their son’s murder.

Jade Wyngaard’s parole application will be heard in Cape Town later today.

Nurshad Davids was found guilty of killing Goldin and his fashion designer friend Richard Bloom in 2006.

Their naked bodies were dumped alongside the M5 freeway.

Goldin’s mother Denise said that she won’t be coming to Cape Town for the hearing because her father is ill.

However they do possess a written submission and asked the court to use the same submissions they gave for the previous parole hearing.
