The Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital in Johannesburg confirmed that they have enough painkillers and antibiotics supplies.
It follows a claim that an email was sent out to all staff saying that the hospital had run out of the supplies.
The hospital’s CEO Johanna More denied this and said they only dealt with long queues at the pharmacy.
She added that she thinks whoever gave out the information is very irresponsible and dishonest.
