Matrics who failed in 2011 have one week left to apply for supplementary

The 2011 matric pupils that failed or wish to improve their marks have until the end of the week to register.

The Department of Education recorded that only 30-percent of 2011`s matrics failed the National Senior Certificate.

The Gauteng Education Department said it would be offering free tuition classes in February on selected subjects including mathematics and science.

The tuition is for certain subjects to help learners to perform better in the supplementary exam.
