Meredale Independent Primary turns away pupils

Inland schools opened this week with a few problems.

The Meredale Independent Primary had to turn away about 70 pupils on Wednesday.

The school Principal told parents that the school is full even though the parents claim that they had received confirmations of acceptance at the school.

District officials were called in to intervene on Thursday, official’s expects all the pupils to be placed in schools by Monday.

Some parents are accusing the Gauteng Education Department of compromising their children's education
