Fresh crews were brought in today to help fight the blaze in Swellendam.
Officials said despite hot and windy conditions, they managed to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
Overberg Fire Chief Reinard Geldenhuys said that the fire is not as bad as it was on Friday.
He added that they managed to contain it in a lot of the areas and they want to hit it as hard as we can, that is why they flew in another two teams this morning.
