Nine people die when a bakkie overturns

Nine people were killed near Clanwilliam when their bakkie veered off the road.

It is believed that the bakkie was travelling from Clainwilliam to Blomfontein when the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Western Cape Traffic Chief Kenny Africa said that there were 21 people on the bakkie and that it rolled several times.

He also added that nine of the 21 people, including the driver died in the accident.
