About 65 fire fighters are currently fighting a blaze in the mountains just above Swellendam.
The fire broke out on Thursday and crew members have been trying to extinguish the blaze, but windy conditions have prevented them from doing so.
Two helicopters are expected to water bomb the area today.
Overberg Fire Chief Reinard Geldenhuys said that it will take the entire weekend to extinguish the fire.
