The Overberg region the hardest hit with fires

A 55-year-old man has sustained moderate injuries after he was struck off his motorbike in Gordans Bay.
The man was driving on Faure Marine Drive when his motorbike allegedly collided with a car knocking him to the ground.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man in the middle of the road.
He was treated on the scene and then later taken to the Vergelegen Mediclinic for further medical care.
The driver of the car sustained no injuries and the case of the accident is still unknown.
