A seven year old girl raped at school

A mother of a seven year old girl in Cape Town yesterday said that her daughter was traumatised after she was allegedly raped at school.

The mother was shocked to hear that something like this can happen at school.

The grade two learner returned home from school on Friday and the mother noticed that something was wrong with her daughter and took her to the doctor.

The girl confessed to have been ordered by a grade three learner to take off her panty and then he raped her.

Western Cape Education Department`s Bronagh Casey said the victim and the alleged offender will receive counseling.
