A 35-year-old man will be appearing in the Thembalethu Magistrates’ Court in George today.
The man was arrested after he drove into a group of 12 young people.
The suspect had been chased by a traffic officer on suspicion that he was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Pojie further said they sustained very serious injuries.
