The civil rights organisation AfriForum has condemned the violations taking place at the Kommando-korps’ training camps .
CEO of AfriForum Kallie Kriel says it is immoral and uncalled-for that children are being mistreated and exposed to racism frame of mind of a small group.
He emphasised that the majority of Afrikaners are reasonable and civilised people who are proud of their own cultural identity.
Kriel added that the fact that the statements of Frans Jooste of the Kommando-korps serve to try to substantiate the worst possible stereotype of Afrikaners with leaves one to question ifJooste is knowingly focussed on describing Afrikaners in a bad light.
