Soweto police are investigating a rape and murder case involving a man and his girlfriend.
The man has been arrested and is expected to appear in court soon.
Police said when officers responded to a domestic violence call on Sunday morning.
The police found the suspect forcing himself on his girlfriend while she was bleeding from her forehead and stomach.
The girl died at the scene.
