Fire fighters are battling another blaze in the mountains above Caledon.
On Sunday fire fighters managed to extinguish the fire which has been burning for more than a week in Standford near Hermanus.
Overberg district municipality’s fire chief Reinard Geldenhuys said that ground crews have been deployed.
He added that the fire is out and they are still watching it at the moment.
Geldenhuys said they are deploying ground teams to make sure the fire stays out and that the fire in Caldeon is being worked on.
