Cape Town residents` battle with prostitution

The City of Cape Town’s Vice Squad on Monday said that they receive around 10 complaints of prostitution per week.

The officials said that most of the complaints come from residents living in Parow , Bellville and Goodwood.

The Vice Squad’s Nathan Ladegourdie said this weekend two sex workers were arrested in the Green Point and Sea Point .

Ladegourdie said that they were charge for contravening the streets public places and prevention of noise nuisance by-law.

 Ladegourdie further said more operations would be held in the coming weeks.
