Gautrain bus drivers strike

Anansa Jacobs
03 February 2012

Gautrain bus drivers are accusing the company of fowl play because management is refusing to discuss their grievances.

Dozens of drivers are protesting outside the company’s MegaExpress bus depot in Midrand.

Management will surely be taking action against the drivers for striking illegally.

The drivers are demanding that the company provide them with transportation, in line with the labour regulation, because they work after hours and public transport is not available
.

They are also demanding better salaries to cover the costs of living.
