MEC for education in the Western Cape Donald Grant was rounding up learners for late coming at Langa High School this morning.
Grant said he would like as many learners as possible to make it to school on time without disrupting the classroom.
The learners were urged to hurry up while a police officer scolded at them for being late.
A prefect said up to 150 learners come late everyday.
Grant said the number of latecomers is unacceptable.
