Appleton a former school teacher admitted to abusing the boy between 2007 and 2009.

He was sentenced to five years behind bars.

But in 2011 the Western Cape High Court set aside his prison sentence.

Two
Western Cape judges ordered the Paarl Regional Court

The boy's father said that the family is unhappy about his sentence.
