Public hearings on the controversial Protection of State Information Bill will move to the Free State on Tuesday.

Last week the hearings were held in Cape Town and the Eastern Cape.

Ad-hoc committee member Louis Nzimande said residents raised their concerns.

Nzimande said the Eastern Cape residents have welcomed the bill but raised their concerns about certain clause in the bill.

The committee will visit all the provinces holding the debates with the public.
