Last minute hope to prevent construction on Chapmans Peak

The Civil Rights Action Group is desperately trying to organize a meeting at the eleventh hour.
CRAG hopes that in this attempt prevention for construction on Chapman’s
Peak Drive
will be stopped.
Plans to go ahead with construction on the Chapman’s Peak toll plaza were suspended last week to allow the group to meet with contractors, toll operators and the Western Cape Department of Public Works.
No definite answer came out the discussions on Friday and planned construction is said to commence on Monday.
