Leader of the ANC’s Mitchell’s Plain constituency Trevor Manuel opened a resource centre at a school yesterday.
The Daral Arqam Islam Centre has more than 270 full-time learners.
The centre received computers and books from the community.
Manuel was greeted warmly by the principal of the school and management of the centre.
The centre has a variety of encyclopaedia and ten computers for learners to use.
