Newly renovated Hospital under investigation

The Western Cape Health Department is investigating the alleged fraudulent activities at the Paarl Hospital.

One member of staff has been suspended from the newly renovated facility.

 Western Cape Health Department today said that five others have been in disciplinary hearings and are under investigation.

Health MEC Theuns Botha said further action will be taken against those found guilty.

Botha further said that the Department became aware of the situation in November 2011.
