The Premier of the Northern Cape Hazel Jenkins has collapsed during her state of the province address today.
An eye witness at the address says Jenkins started to slur her words, and then collapsed.
Jenkins was speaking at the official opening of the province’s legislature at the CRC church in Kimberley.
A representative from her office, Mafu Davids has confirmed that she has been rushed to hospital.
