Rape victim receives counseling

The Western Cape Education Department said that is has arranged further support for a Grade two learner who was raped by a Mfuleni school caretaker.

Last week, police arrested the 56-year-old man.

He is accused of raping the girl at school on more than one occurrence.

The department's Bronagh Casey said that a psychologist and social worker have been deployed to the school.
