A rescue helicopter was arranged to the scene of a fatal accident outside Parow Shopping Centre today.
The accident involved a mini-bus taxi and a truck on
Voortrekker Road
.
One person died on the scene and several others were injured in the crash.
ER24's Andre Visser said they used the Jaws of Life to rescue some of the injured.
Visser said that the injured people were transported to the nearby hospital by a helicopter.
