The ANC youth leagues deputy president Ronald Lamola says that mines should be nationalized.
He told this to protesters in Phola Township near Ogies in Mpumalanga that their protest was in clear support of the youth leagues view that mines should be nationalized.
The protests from the angry community have been happening since Monday.
Lamola says the community must continue with their protests until their demands are met.
He stressed that the community’s struggle is necessary and that people should not stop protesting.
